Internship: Business Development and Analytics

Internship: Business Development & Analytics

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and analytical intern to join our Business Development team and help bring our thermal battery technology to market. You will work at the intersection of techno-economic analysis, energy markets, and customer discovery – evaluating real projects, stress-testing economics, and shaping product features that improve performance and competitiveness. You will also work directly with industrial customers to understand how plants operate, how control systems and software are set up, and how our battery can integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technoeconomic Modeling: Evaluate the financial and technical performance of potential projects, factoring in CAPEX, OPEX, and localized constraints. Apply technoeconomic analysis to project-specific investigations and contribute to understanding the viability of our product in specific use case scenarios.
  • Technical Product Integration: Contribute to understanding the technical integration of our product with a variety of end-use applications. Special focus on control systems and evaluation of communication protocols that can be used between our product and other devices our product interacts with
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes that impact project feasibility.
  • Analysis Optimization: Audit and improve our existing technoeconomic tools—enhancing automation, accuracy, and user interface in partnership with the Redoxblox software team.

Who You Are

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering) or in Economics, Finance, or Business with a strong technical focus.
  • You are highly analytical and comfortable working with data, models, and financial assumptions.
  • You are interested in energy systems, industrial processes, and climate technology.
  • You have a business- and finance-oriented mindset and can connect technical performance to commercial outcomes.
  • You are curious about how software, hardware, and operations interact in real industrial environments.
  • You are a self-starter who takes ownership, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced startup setting.
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and motivated by impact-driven work
